Our office is reopening for more services
Update on 5/18/20
We are excited to be welcoming back our patients and providing routine care to prevent dental emergencies moving forward. Your oral health is very important to us. Please be patient with us as we have made many adjustments to the schedule to facilitate proper infection control and distancing to keep our patients and staff healthy during this time. If your appointment was canceled or treatment postponed during the COVID-19 closure, please expect a call from us soon to get you rescheduled.
We know that some patients may be hesitant to receive routine care or go out in public during this pandemic. We respect those decisions and have waived any cancelation penalties or fees for appointments at this time. We hope that you would please give us at least 24 hours notice when possible when canceling your appointment.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
-Our office will text you a form before you arrive to ask some screening questions. You will have your temperature taken upon arriving at the office.
-We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.
-Per CDC recommendations at this time, you will be asked to wear a mask or face covering to and from your appointment.
-You will see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. Our chairs are also spaced apart to allow for social distancing. We also ask that patients come alone to their appointment when possible to avoid visitors in the waiting room.
-Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
-We would like to offer patients the option of waiting in their car and texting or calling our office when you arrive so you can be taken directly to the treatment room.
We look forward to seeing you again or seeing you for the first time if you are a new patient. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call or text our office at 608-325-5464.
